  1. To those who say that anyone who criticizes this trash movie is a racist, I say screw you. As a huge fan of the original since my childhood in Nigeria in the 2000s, this movie is pointless and the lie about "pushing diversity" is a joke. Unnecessary, lazy, made to push toxic identity politics. After seeing how they removed the romance, emasculated Eric and made the plot so nonsensical (she no longer did this for love or had any lessons to learn in the end) this movie just makes me glad I still have my blu-ray of the 89 original.
