  1. Absolutely true. Heck! I am not American. I am Nigerian and I can tell you that the global order created by America, while not perfect, is so much better than any other in world history. Far more global stability (under sensible political leadership) increased h=global wealth and development, and better respect for human rights. Even though I know Americans tend towards isolationism, I seriously hope they at least maintain their position as world hegemon.
