  1. That's not a bad thing. It just means that Europe never stops changing and adapting and improving. It was the same with Rome from the turmulent times of the Republic to the heights of the empire and all the way into the days of European hegemony and global dominance. Europe has stagnated now but as they often do, new blood comes in and Europe gets re-invigorated. CHina will likely continue to exist but as far being a global hegemon with long-standing influence beyond East Asia, I doubt that. It goes against their socio-cultural makeup.
