  1. No you won't. As far as economic significance, SA (Zimbabwe 2.0) has diminished on the continent. You have no hydrocarbons, not the best soil for agriculture and all you have a re precious metals. East Africa and West Africa tend to have more busy and growing sea ports. What else do you have to offer?

  2.  @manofsorrow4785  yeah, sorry but maybe 2 decades ago I might have believed this but not anymore. When South Africa falls, Botswana and Namibia will likely pick up much of the slack and the Chinese will swoop in to clean up the rest. The only folks in SA that will have a chance to rebuild are the Afrikaaners, the coloreds and the Asians who live there already i.e the folks who don't vote for the corrupt banal black politicians who have destroyed the country.

The wealthy people don't want to help a government who repeatedly says they want to pull a Zimbabwe and seize money and property from the economically productive and "redistribute" it to the rest of the country and "solve poverty" I cannot imagine why they wouldn't want to help them.
