Moral of this: Stay out of urban hellholes😂 But seriously, avoid these types and hang out with more down-to-earth people and also imbibe good culture and traditions.

@thiccchungo1041 The term "western civilization" is also fairly recent but does that make what it defines wrong? Or the historic basis for it incorrect? So capitalism is now oppressive and was also why slavery continued in America in the first place? Strange given how the Confederacy was economically and socially declining compared to the growing and strong capitalist north. Also, considering how countries in Africa (like mine) have improved due to western concepts and ideologies like Capitalism and democracy, I am wondering how your logic is being reached about how these things are oppressive. Heck! Aren't Nigerian-Americans and Asian-Americans some of the highest income earners in the USA? So how exactly is your society so discriminative if this is the case? As for your point on the LGBTQ, can you tell me which places on earth have a better track record of respect tolerance for them besides the west, particularly North America? And as for the KKK, yes they had some Christian influences but they were clearly an extremist-racialist movement with Christian trappings like the Nation of Islam being an extremist-racialist movement with Islamic trappings. You may have some objective facts mixed in your comments but it feels more subjective and heavily ideologically biased.

@dnjdsolarus but didn't Christianity literally originate from Judaism? 🤔 Or are they so far removed like Hinduism and Norse mythology?

@thiccchungo1041 um, isn't your culture based on English common law, Liberalism, capitalism, and Judeo-Christian frameworks? Was it not these things that enshrined your rights and liberties and constitution? Was it also not a combination of liberalism and Christianity and economic innovation due to capitalism that eventually gave strength to the abolitionist movement that ended slavery in your region? Hack! Weren't the Confederacy literally going against all the aforementioned traditions and culture I just listed in their attempts to preserve slavery? The British, as a result of some of the things I just mentioned, also abolished slavery that existed Nigeria long before they ever colonized us. So what exactly makes you surprised that I, an African, am speaking well of your culture and traditions? Please gain more perspective.

@thiccchungo1041 It always astounds me whenever I hear westerners, like you, talk like that. Maybe my Nigerian perspective is why but why be so quick to trash their things like culture and traditions that have made your society as prosperous, stable and progressive as it is?
