@Sheragust What do you mean? Jesus called for slaves to be free in the Bible. Saint Paul condemned slavery and called for the freedom of Onesimus, a slave, during the early period of the Christian church in Israel. Christian Abolitionists in Great Britain help form the movement, in conjunction with enlightenment philosophers, that led to the eventual abolishment in slavery in the British empire. Quakers were one of the first sects of Christians in the USA to unilaterally condemn slavery and demand its abolition. What the hell are you talking about exactly?

@danielwest6095 sad but true. In Nigeria (my country) the British ended the slave trade that the Hausa's and Fulani's used to exploit us in the south. We practically wouldn't exist as a country without their help.

@jaybee4577 Oh, I am an Edo by birth and yes. My ancestors did partake in the slave trade but not more than the Hausas. Basically, I am nothing special. Literally every Nigerian can find at least one ancestor who partook in the slave trade. Heck! One of Tinubu's own ancestors did just that and he became governor of Lagos state!
