Is anyone honestly shocked by this? I mean, Christ! What did you folks expect after more than a year of locking down the economies of multiple nations to "slow the spread"? or creating "COVID policies" that took wealth away from the middle and lower classes and enriched the top 1%? or constantly printing money and paying people not to work? or obstructing landlords from being able to collect rent? and so many other stupid government policies?! Oh well, glad I live far from any urban areas and will not be too heavily impacted by this.
