  1. 2:45 Speaking as a guy who is relatively new to anime, I can assure you that this whole phenomenon of alfabet westerners transitioning and "being anime fans" is not nearly as widespread as you think and mainly involves people who would have transitioned or embraced degenerate lifestyles either way. Anime and manga, though having progressive themes, is anything but woke or progressive by western standards and it actually has a more normie fanbase than people imagine because the entertainment is not woke and actively avoids identity politics. Heck! I am a 27 year old guy, a college grad who works in as a nurse's assistant and I got into anime and manga in 2020 because I got so sick of woke entertainment. Also, given how many woke westerners frequently harass and attack manga artists and writers for their art or stories (usually involving sexy female characters or strong male characters) it shows that the wokescum hate anime and manga.

  2. BASED and God bless you for being a rarity in the west-A good father. You and my dad are basically the same. Even as I am 27 and his first-born and son, he is still tough on me and never hesitates to criticize me when he needs to.

  3. THANK YOU! I am relatively new to anime (I started watching in late 2020) and the main reason i got into it and manga was because I hated woke western entertainment so much and I wanted to experience good escapism devoid of any of that toxic identity politics.

He and I do not agree on many things (the same way he and his father didn't) For starters, he supports the MSM, BLM, and the establishment left (he literally calls Trump a white supremacist and tries to dissuade me from liking him and conservatives because CNN said so but at least he is heavily critical of obama) That being said, when he raised me in Nigeria, he really did a good job instilling conservative values in me like abhorring victimhood, embracing hard work, being an entrepreneur, having national pride and Christianity. It's only after we emigrated to Canada and I got older that he started sharing more of his youthful ideological leanings. I have learned to humor him and he has learned that I will not budge on my beliefs.
