Big props to Qatar for doing this. I am no supporter of the country or of islamic theocracy but I am happy that someone is giving a big F You to the woke mob ruining sports, and their disgusting ideology.

@Kris.G Last I checked, the world cup is supposed to be apolitical and devoid of useless activism and divisive identity politics. Qatar seems to understand that by refusing to tolerant any of that virtue-signaling you westerners do. Also, I am pretty sure some of the values of the host country should be respected and taken into consideration as well. Whenever any European country hosted the world cup, it was done so for them and the guest nations didn't impose or try to violate their laws or customs.

@david_donovan did you not read my comment? I said I don't support islamic theocracy or the country much. I just support push back to wokeness and disgusting ideologies associated with it

@david_donovan Romania, Hungary and even Nigeria are not islamic theocracies and they all are not in support of woke cultural Marxist ideologies. How is being against that somehow equal to islamic theocracy? You seem to be under the weird assumption that only Muslims find this ideology detestable
