The more I see of western society as an international student (I am from Nigeria) I begin to see that wokeness and progressivism can ONLY exist in a first world country where people have so little existential threats and issues that the urbanites have to create some form of identity/purpose to stave off boredom, even though said purpose undermines their own society. The whole gender identity thing is a perfect example.
