Hi everyone! I recently managed to make the tuition payment of $1650 for my concluded Summer intersession semester at my local college. I am now clear to resume for the upcoming Fall September semester (I am taking a Book Keeping diploma program btw) and I owe it to my current Wendy's job and the long hours I requested at the start of the summer. None of that "communism" BS for me. I know what it takes to be successful (grinding and smarts) and pipe dreams and foolishness are not it.

@OldieWan Believe me, friend, I would like nothing more but in my circumstances, I cannot attend trade school yet. I am an international student in Canada and I want to get naturalized the proper way by first completing post-secondary education before I go to a trade school. I had hoped to get a diploma in electrical engineering but such programs are restricted for domestic students and were I to go to a province like Ontario, the tuition I would pay there, even at a college, would be 5 times higher.

This is literally what brought about the failure the first socialist commune called New Harmony. It was filled with mostly new-age "intellectuals" and theorists with little to no practical skills who could not organize anything or maintain the commune.

@Johnny_Rico.You_Know_WhatTo_Do I agree but circumstances won't allow me attend a trade school at this time (I am an international student and I am attending a cheap college) but believe me, once I graduate from this and get settled here, I plan on enrolling in a trade school.

@Johnny_Rico.You_Know_WhatTo_Do That's a helpful suggestion, friend. I will definitely keep that one in mind once I eventually finish with my current program and settle my immigration affairs. Thanks again.

@OldieWan Oh no worries, sir. Not harsh at all. Believe me, it was very good and blunt advice you gave me. Pretty much how I was raised in Nigeria. No need to apologize.
