  1. This is why gatekeeping is so important. It doesn't prevent newcomers from entering a fandom but it prevents crazy ideologues and leftist scum from ruining a fandom. That is why I dropped American comics and got into manga. None of that divisive woke trash there and I am black so that made me enjoy it even more.
