As a Nigerian, you have my thanks for making this video. I ised to foolishly think Haiti's, and much of Africa, was due to colonialism and racism but with more knowledge and age, i see i was wrong. Haiti's problems are off their own making and they have no excuse. After their revolution, they reinstated slavery and plantation system on their country, invaded and enslaved the DR, curtailed education and civic liberty of their country, and mismanaged their economy. The French debt is not even that significant. Mexico lost land and had to pay reparations to the USA after their war. Germany had to pay reparations for two world wars. Namibia and Botswana were also colonized and have worse geography than Haiti yet all are doing better. What is Haiti excuse?!

Yeah, they all have awful politics and economies and culture. Look at Botswana and Namibia and Kenya who were all colonized like Haiti and are black. What is Haiti's excuse? They have none

@vivianelanthier722 Sad but true. Haiti has always been a problematic country mainly due to their own cultural, social and political issues and they will never take accountability. Thanks for you Canadians actually trying to help them

@yasuke4593 friend, your comment makes no sense. Namibia's poverty doesn't stem from no land redistribution. It is due to their harsh geography. The majority of the citizens are black while whites make up about 10% and even the land is mostly held by the government. Most of the country is arid desert with limited water and farmland. They also have a smaller population than other countries. The urban centers are also more financially developed than the rural ones due to the mentioned geography problem. Despite all this, they still do better than Zimbabwe who has better land, more people and also redistributed their land and destroyed their country😒

@oswald_itu I would say it's mainly their culture. Even societies with low IQ experience improvements all around when they embrace culture that promotes good economics, education and political stability.
