I'm just here to see which denomination is the noderate one that embraces modernity and doesn't support radicalism and repression.

@sippercool7733 nah. Secular is not moderate or embracing modernity. It's just the opposite of orthodox. The religions that survive and thrive are the ones that become moderate and embrace modernity while the failing ones are either secular (too modern) or orthodox (too traditional and backwards) That's one reason why Wahabi Islam is failing. It is too backwards and regressive, even to Muslims.

@sippercool7733 like I said already, secularism is not always a good thing. It's just the opposite of orthodox/traditionalism and both of them are terrible and always lead to failure because both are forms of extremism, especially for religions. That is why moderation is what always wins. I am a Christian and some traditional aspects of Christianity were pro slavery until they decided to become moderate.

@NoOne-wz2ht yeah, good for you and from general trends, Islam is looking like it will come to be more moderate given how most mainstream Muslims are sickened by wahabism and radical islam and also growing socioeconomic and geographic pressures are forcing them to modernize. Turkey, the strongest Muslim country in terns of military and economic growth, is also a moderate country. Saudi Arabia is gradually modernizing and even coming close to recognize Israel due to economic, political and social pressure. Change happens whether you want it or not. Best To adapt
