He told them not to put peanut butter in the smoothie, which they complied with, but he failed to mention it was due to allergy reasons. He said he expected them to know. You have to tell if you have allergies or any condition so restaurant workers use sterilized separate equipment and separate ingredients.

  5.  @SarahR2D2  Yes. The syrups, protein powder or filling contain trace amounts of peanuts or other ingredients and people with allergies can react to those traces. Heck, ketchup contains traces of soy and wheat. It's just an unfortunate part of the manufacturing process.
