  1. 7:40 I remember watching a documentary on the Vietnam war and one thing really surprised me: A commentator said, "The Vietnam war with America was a short-phase in the greater war with China". It basically showed me that Vietnam views China as a greater existential threat than all the other countries it has gone to war with. It certainly explains why they have good relationships with the USA even despite their war.
