Why bother being anti-SJW for that? Just become a progressive leftist who works for Buzzfeed and you can diddle the kids and just identify as p3d0-sexual. They will support you and donate money even.

Ngl, when I saw your video in recommends I figured it was going to be some vlogger spouting about how anti-SJWs are all white supremacists or bigots or fascists and how SJWs are tolerant progressively minded who fight injustice. but it was surprisingly a nuanced take on both sides and even explored their histories and current states. As a black person who used to watch SJW content but dropped it once they became too divisive and racist (I became a conservative thanks in part to those people) I have to say that your video is well done.

@themangoman9315 it's not wrong, you know. Plus, you didn't exactly disprove it.

@88Crager yeah, partly. is it strange to believe that a black person can be a conservative? also, my catholic upbringing in Nigeria made me even less inclined to be a leftist once i saw what they were really like.

Pendulum swings happen because when one side gains the greatest social, ideological, cultural and even governmental influence and becomes too domineering, it inevitably creates opposition. This opposition will be fringe at first and as the former lashes out and becomes even more domineering, especially with regards to apolotical aspects in society, the mainstream (which is normally more balanced and unified) becomes increasingly polarized as greater society becomes more politicized. Once the domineering group is gone and replaced, things return to balance until the cycle begins again. It happened with the Christian right in the 70s and 80s and it will happen with far-leftist progressives of today.

wow, so I am a conservative because I am afraid and inherently a bigot? or maybe as a black person, I simply hated how unhinged the left became and how they forced divisive identity politics unto the mainstream and how it has had disastrous effects on my community?

@C0lorman Millennial here. Couldn't agree more. ALso, this is how it is with my young brother. He is no woke far-lefist but he also is not nearly as conservative as I am.

yes, to a degree. Except that one side of that coin largely managed to evolve into more nuanced and level-headed version of itself while the other regressed to an even worse state and has become too mired in divisive rhetoric to actually change for the better. Given the current state of mainstream attitudes towards progressivism, I think it's pretty accurate which sides I am alluding to.
