  1. Okay, this is getting really annoying! Americans, here is the word from me, an actual African and history wiz: The ancient Egyptians were not black! The black Pharaohs everyone keeps referencing were Nubians/Kushites, from modern day Sudan, who for a relatively brief period actually conquered and ruled over Egypt. Besides this, ancient Egyptians and the Pharaohs were never black! They looked more like Phoenicians in the Levant and began to look more like Mediterranean's after Alexander and his Greeks conquered the region.
