  1. Sankara was a good intentioned man who wanted the best for his country but he used the wrong methods. He should have embraced democracy, like Seretse Khama, and this would have helped him ensure long-lasting change and improvements for his country. Him using military dictatorship meant that his changes were not destined to last long and that democracy would not take root and that others would simply use his same method of seizing power against him.

  3. Thomas Sankara was a good intentioned man who definitely wanted the best for his country but he went about it the wrong way. By using military force and dictatorship, he undermine the chance for democracy and long-term change. Plus, it cost him his own life by encouraging others to simply use his methods against him and the good changes he implemented were undone.
