Um, what does this story have to do with the current Israeli government or Netanyahu? Also, are you seriously saying we should not praise Israel for saving theor people from the butcher of Uganda? You see how crazy that looks?

Exactly

@profpuffofficial2 Leopold was a monster a d even Belgium and much of Europe was revolted by what he did to Congo. Belgium has been paying annual reparations for this. How many of Amin's accomplices paid for their crimes in Uganda? Also, considering Amin was an African who did worse to his own people, that makes him as bad as Leopold.

No nonsense? 🤣 he was a Society puppet who butchered his own people and nearly destroyed Uganda. If you think he was such a great person, why not move to Eritrea where another ruler like him is in charge?

@Lando-kx6so sad but true😔 Our history is full of evil tyrants who did more harm to our African people than anyone else.

As a Nigerian, i say good for Israel for humiliating this monster and saving (most of) their citizens. Amin was an evil human being who, sadly, got away with most of his crimes against the people of Uganda but at least in this situation, his evil was thwarted.

She was a great woman and earned her place in history. Idi Anin was just another African "strongman" thug who nearly destroyed his country and is derided in history.

@tonnyanguzu Not surprised. Saddam is a hero in Iraq despite what he and his family did to the people. Stalin is seen as a hero in Russia despite causing famines and the killings and gulags. Pol Pot is seen as heroic in parts of Cambodia despite his genocide. I am not surprised a man who oppressed his own people, ate his enemies and (g)raped is seen as heroic to Ugandans now. Welcome to humanity.
