  1. All these western universities have become hall of activism and their reputation continues to fall. Eventually, they will return back to being sensible institutions but that will not happen for a while. A similar thing happened in the UK back in the 1800s when universities became essentially social clubs for rich kids and actual academics left those places and started their own private teaching jobs. It became so bad that university degree holders were looked down on and it was expensive to even attend. After a long time, the universities changed and became solely about STEM and actual academics. Now, western universities are regressing again.
