This movie is going to underperform due to several reasons: lack of interest, full-on wokeness, declining MCU box office, more box office competition (especially from Black Adam) and also no male lead (the majority of people who saw the first black panther were black males and they helped market it via word-of-mouth. Given how Woman King performed, most of us black guys don't care for any of that "feminism" b.s in our media)

  5.  @thunberbolttwo3953  Oh, I know it doesn't violate canon but that doesn't mean it will be good, especially given how marvel's recent offerings have not been critical or fan-favorite successes. Also, her run as Black Panther in the comics was not well received by fans either.

  8.  @andim.8788  friend, don't waste your time expecting these woke fools to be knowledgeable of such things. They are not even comic book readers or vaguely interested in comic book history. So, of course they would not know that Jack Kirby (the man who created Black Panther and all his lore) was a white guy and one of the greatest figures in comics. Even when I was a kid in Nigeria, I learned about him because I enjoyed watching superhero cartoons. These folks are just woke bigots who are latching on to mediums like comics and movies to push their divisive agenda.
