  1. An anime that came out recently, Sakamoto Days, features the MC (a former assassin) who retired, fell in love with a store clerk and now runs a convenience store with her and their little daughter😂 The location in the anime was not in Tokyo or some metro place but in a somewhat dingy semi-urban town but the town had a lot of families and kids and had a really easy going culture and many of the characters woukd cone off as soft Yankee types and with more realness and likability. It's interesting how this phenomenon is also being reflected in Japanese media too, especially the prevalence of Gyarus😍

  2. So much good stuff in this video. I had no idea the Yankee groups in Japan were this deep but it makes sense. They eschew the urban metro lifestyles of the majority of the country and focus on blue collar jobs and have more lax but wholesome culture in their communities. It's no surprise that they have better birthrates. Makes me even more determined to get into the skill trades myself. I wanna be an automotive technician after wasting years in college/university on business 😢

  3. 17:50 As a cough researcher of Japanese offbrand anime, i can confirm this is true😂 So many gyarus tend to be depicted as wanting to be happy wives who give their loving husbands many kids. One of the manga i recently bought is also like this. It's called Gal Gohan and it's about a gyaru in highschool who joins a cooking club with her teachers, they develop feelings and get married after she graduates.

Ngl, the vibes you both give as a couple make me hopeful for my own marriage prospects😂 You both know about anime and manga and video games and you also still manage to balance it out with familial responsibilities? I hope i can find a Catholic woman to marry like that cause i have those kinds of interests.
