  3. I had a feeling there would be that one westerner trying to blame America for a mistake made by Mao and his communists. Seriously sad. So his stupid decision to force the Chinese people to melt all their farm tools into pig iron played no part in the famine? The decision to force city dwellers who had farming experience to work on communal farms played no part in it? the decision to seize private farm land, private produce, live stock and seedlings from farmers who were then incensed enough to destroy their property played no part in the famine? The worst decision to kill the sparrows that led to locusts destroying crop yields played no part? It was all America and capitalism's fault? Why you westerners always try and defend an evil ideology like communism is beyond me.
