Ironic that thumbnail of yours considering how after the Haitian revolution, the new rulers reinstated the plantation slave system and curtialed civic and economic liberties and development of the country and they then mismanaged the economy so badly afterwards. Capitalism didn't ruin Haiti. Their own government and policies did. Mexico lost a war, land and had to pay indemnities to the USA. Germans had to pay reparations for two world wars. Heck! The Dominican Republic was invaded and occupied by Haiti yet all of these countries are doing better than Haiti in all metrics. Can you blame capitalism for that?!
