  2. Look, here's the thing: Black History month is a thing ONLY celebrated in woke western nations. Most of us in Africa are unaware such a ridiculous celebration month exists and when we do discover it, we find it odd. Why not just celebrate your national day of founding as a country rather than your race? Please, don't try and spin this as a black people issue. This is a woke west issue. For example, in Canada they now have Turban day; something that doesn't even exist in India. This is a woke west issue.

  3. Sir, with all due respect, this is overgeneralizing. Haiti's situation is mainly due to their god awful culture and history of bad socioeconomics, not their race. I doubt you view Botswana or Namibia or Kenya as the same as Haiti despite them also being black-run countries. I'm Nigerian and i enjoy your content due to you being one of the few westerners who soeaks out against victimhood culture but this one is a miss.

  4. Good. As a Nigerian, i will never understand how anyone thought these racial quotas were a good thing. All it does is destroy meritocracy, punish actually hard working and intelligent people of all races (how many whites and Asians have been denied? How many hard working black people get lumped in with failing DEI ones?!), ruins industries with lowering standards, and leads to the DEI recipients failing further in life.

  5. You know what, I am done. Just done. I am completely indifferent. We black people largely hate wokeness more than you white folks. We just tend to be indifferent because your mainstream media ignores our criticism of wokeness. We are not the ones forcing this tokenism trash on entertainment; it's you guys. No black person was advocating for a black dwarf princess or a black elf in Lord of the Rings. We didn't ask or even demand a black doctor who because lord knows most of us black people didn't care a hoot about the series to begin with.   7. Okay, now I am confused. Not due to your video, sir, but the "controversy" itself. This movie is about Scandinavian vikings during the Viking Age. Why should the fact that it features Vikings be controversial? Maybe my Nigerian-born self cannot fully comprehend the issue the leftist woke scum have with this film but someone explain this to me?

  8. Just so we are all clear, this "news" is usually produced by the BBC and western studios and people (usually white leftists), not us in Africa or Nigeria. We still use English for our news broadcasts. Pidgin is just informal colloquial speech like how you brits have Cornish or Cockney. It is not used in any formal context here. We are not so self-degrading that we use unintelligible speech like that as news.
