  2. Just so we are all clear, this "news" is usually produced by the BBC and western studios and people (usually white leftists), not us in Africa or Nigeria. We still use English for our news broadcasts. Pidgin is just informal colloquial speech like how you brits have Cornish or Cockney. It is not used in any formal context here. We are not so self-degrading that we use unintelligible speech like that as news.
