  1. I am not surprised Samurai Jack season 5 did the whole old hero send off better than most other shows. Gendy Tartakovsky was born and raised in the Soviet Union before emigrating to the USA. He knows how dangerous leftist ideology and post-modernism can be and he resolved to never let his stories be like that.

  2. This is why I mainly watch anime and buy & read manga. They are currently the only modern mediums of fiction and entertainment that haven't been subverted/tainted by wokescum or progressive d-bags and it shows. You still see heroic male or female characters, feminine and likable female characters, proper character development etc.

  3. A perfect example of post-modernism and deconstruction of classic objective storytelling principles in action. They purposefully undermine past classics, characters, and tropes for ideological reasons and use the excuse of "moral ambiguity, diversity, progress and realism". There will be a backlash to all this in the near future in the arts and entertainment.
