  1. In anime and manga, there are multiple examples of well written, badass, likable, and entertaining lead or supporting female characters yet no one ever calls them woke. You know why? In Japan, they actually write them as characters (e.g. Mikasa, Misaka, Saber, Android 18 etc) with flaws, likable traits and development. They also make them visually appealing and avoid all the toxic identity politics westerners ALWAYS shove into their own media.
