Their economic problems and insecurity problems are too much and they largely hate how their government has been handling things.

  4. He was likely killed by dissident Iranian groups. The country is not as unified as people think. I'm ruling out Israel here sinply due to the fact a high Azerbaijan delegate was also deceased. Consider how Israel has good relations with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Iran have issues due to irredentist views on both sides and a huge Azerbaijani diaspora in Iran. Israel supports Azerbaijan due to this. Why would they kill a politician from there?

  5. ​ @Man-vs-Metal but on a friendly country? Yeah, Raisi was most likely killed by dissenting groups in Iran. Remember that the country is not united as many assume. Various tribes and dissident groups still have grievances, especially due to economic, religious and security reasons. There were Iranians trying to kill Suleimani before America did.
