  1. First time I ever read Maus was in 2013 when I was visiting my cousins in Mississauga and I went to the local library and saw it on display. Being from Nigeria, we don't get taught about WWII or too much about the Holocaust. It sparked my curiosity and I read it the whole day. Later on, in 2017, after finishing my night shift I went home and decided to stop at a local used book store owned by brother and sister who were friendly with me. I perused teh sore and discovered, to my delight, the full complete Maus box set containing vol 1 and 2! For only CAD$9.99! I instantly bought it and it has been with me since. Now I see the books selling for USD$35-50 on Amazon and it makes me feel even better that I bought mine when I did.
