American comics: Unprofessional, disrespectful to customers and calls Jordan Peterson a Nazi. Japanese manga: Respects customers, professionalism, has no woke filth, and is cheaper

@danteblack1141 Well said! And when you factor in the fact that the manga industry does digital distribution well and that digital manga tends to be sold cheaper, it is no contest. Heck! I got into manga last year via Book Walker and recently bought the entire Attack on Titan series (haven't bought the last volume yet) and it cost me $120 after the discounts from the site-wide sale and the customer points discounts I applied to the purchase. I doubt American comics could ever beat that.

@yudh0849 I get what you are trying to say but manga isn't, nor has it ever being, woke. They do diversity the right way i.e. organic instead of forced e.g. Saber (a gender-bent version of King Arthur who is strong, heroic, badass yet still feminine and one of the most popular anime characters in the world). Felix from Re:Zero (A cross-dressing male character who is a warrior and is also very popular with men and women in the fan base) They respect their customers and fan base. They use politics and ideologies to enhance a story rather than using a story to push politics or ideology. Finally, the industry is tough and hard and meritocratic, which is the complete opposite of American comics. For example, if Vita Ayala or Maggs Visagio were working in the manga industry, they would have been fired long ago and not kept around for the sake of a diversity quota.
