  1. 15:00 I can relate. For me growing up in Nigeria, the rarity fruits of choice were apples and grapes. If you know anything about West Africa, our climate is terrible for growing both fruits and the only way we could get them was via importing from South Africa and Europe. they were expensive and anytime you got some, you would savor them.

  2. Wow! A lot of these market scenes with the fresh produce all remind me of the markets we have in Nigeria (except for the breadlines and shortages. We don't have much for those, thankfully😌) We do have western-style supermarkets and grocery stores but not as many due to their priceyness. There is a LOT OF HAGGLING btw😂 The only times I recall line-ups in Nigeria were during fuel "shortages" either caused by worker strikes, price fluctuation (causing panic buying), or supply chain issues. There was always fuel but the stupid government kept mismanaging distribution.
