@anonz975 you have a point but at the same time, people need to have basic composure even while shy and this involves being able to communicate. Social anxiety should not be an excuse

@NoName-ov8qi Well said. My late grandfather in Nigeria had a similar mindset. He was a traditionalist before converting to Christianity. When he was alive, he had land that he planned to pass on to his kids and is grandkids but he died early and his brother was the steward and selfishly squandered it all. Fortunately, he also invested in his kid's education and this helped them escape poverty. Now, we are all Christians and keep those values. My parents plan on passing their property to me and my siblings but I also plan on building my own wealth cause my siblings will need it more.

Man, that's so sad. Sorry about that. I am Nigerian and I can never imagine my parents doing that to me but it's also not unheard of here. My late grandfather (on Dad's side) inherited small farmland from his dad, increased it in his youth for his own kids to inherit but he fell out with his eldest son (polygamy issues with his second wife) and said land passed on to his brother for stewardship. Grandfather died sadly and said brother squandered the land for his own family but lost all the money. Now, whole family has no more land. Thankfully, my grandfather also invested heavily in his kid's education, even the ones who grew to loath him (again, second wife issues) and because of that they (including my dad) grew out of poverty. Loosing that land still sucks😢 always work to build up your own thing. My parents have promised to let me inherit their stuff but I also frequently tell them I will build my own. I have younger siblings and they will likely need it more.
