A weird possibility of resolution to this coukd be that Israel annexes northern Gaza, installs a civilian Palestinian government there, and assimilates the Palestinians there after purging Hamas. I know it sounds ridiculous but could this have any possibility of happening? I am one of those people who doesn't see the "two-state solution" as anything viable at all.

Some developments i have seen like Saudi Arabia sending aid to Palestinians via Egypt is interesting as it shows that they have possibly reached a deal with Israel and Egypt to ensure aid ONLY gets to Palestinians and not Hamas. That's good.

@ateampossible thank you! This could be used as a template for the Palestinians in Gaza. The two state solution simply will never work. Israel being the ruling power with autonomy and federal representation for Palestinians seems the only viable option. Arabs and Muslims already live in Israel and have full rights and privileges as citizens of Israel. Basically the same thing America and Canada did for the Natives.

@AboSaad-q8n yes? Why not? It seems to work For Native Americans in the USA and First Nations in Canada. It seems to work for me, as a Nigerian,and other various tribes who came to become citizens of our country when it didn't exist prior and had to work to build civic nationalism despite our tribal differences😕

@AboSaad-q8n firstly, thanks for the kind words for me and my country. Appreciate, friend. Also, as to the population issue, I don't see it as a major thing cause Arab-Israelis already live in Israel and have high birthdates but also are fully enfranchised citizens and contribute positively to Israel. This could also be done for Palestinians so long as they drop the radicalism. Also, the white guilt thing is unlikely. That mainly tends to be in regions and countries with very little existential threats and the weird postmodern leftist ideology that promotes it. I mean, in Nigeria, my ancestors of my tribe, and those of others, had history of war, enslavement and conflict with other tribes yet none of us has any "white guilt" sentiments cause it's something all our ancestors did and we also real issues and problems here to dwell on the past. so the ideology has no root here.

@xpusostomos yes, and not a very effective leadership or a majority of them, I would imagine😕 The aid can still be given to the majority of Palestinians and not be effective to Hamas, especially as food aid.

@7thsealord888 yes, that is true but I still think it can be done with Israel. America and Canada managed to do it with their Native and First Nations peoples who had brutal wars and attacks from both sides. Simikar situation was achieved in my country, Nigeria, first with British and later our own democracies a d military governments as we work to build a national identity despite our many tribal differences. Civic nationalism can be achieved, with force and diplomacy.

yes, I like this. It won't be easy to establish. Lord knows my country (Nigeria) had, and still has issues, with our national unity but getting better. Same thing with USA and Canada with their integration of Natives and Indigenous peoples.

@jlpowell51 sad but true. Still, they should try. Israel and the part era like Egypt and Saudi Arabia should work more on this. Maybe even a situation where Israel can supplant Hamas in some way and install more stable leadership?

@airman122469 yeah, I know. Why do you think I called it nonsense that is not going to happen? The native American tribes also promised to push the Europeans and later Americans into the sea and that never happened.
