Many will assume it's the west doing this but as an African (Nigerian) i will tell you folks that most of the illegal mining here is done by insurgents, t*rrorists, corrupt government officials, and rogue Chinese citizens. Here, in Nigeria especially, these groups are the ones responsible for the illegal mining that they use to fund their activities😢
