  7. ​ @Ben-Yosef correct 😁 It originally came from Greek culture and the Romans (Latina) adopted it. Then, it indirectly entered into subsequent derivative cultures like French and English, which also due to the adoption of Christianity by the Romans, led to it becoming associated with Christianity and Christian western cultures, despite it not being from the Bible. Isn't history fascinating?😂
