ECOWAS, for all it's issues, was actually built on better principles and actually fosters economic, military and diplomatic alliances among democratic nations like my Nigeria. The Sahel countries are all in this w union mainly to serve the interest of the new juntas that toppled thier democracies and the three countries are now getting worse economically and socially and politically.
