As a Nigerian I am happy to see more involvement from India as this helps counter China and their destructive exploitation o Africa.

@kabzaify They can offer us better logistics management and experience, IT tech expertise, cost-effective industrialization strategies, better agriculture production and mechanized farming methods and expertise, nuclear energy expertise and energy production expertise etc. India has literally managed to achieve over 90% electricity production and distribution despite not even being an oil and gas producer compared to many African countries. India is also far more trust-worthy and less exploitative compared to China. They have more to offer Africa than you think.

@jaybee4577 guy, here's the thing: Africa is already being exploited with or without foreigners here. Our politicians and elites already exploit us. So why not get good foreigners to do business in Africa? Also, we need foreign trade to develop and grow Africa and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

@handsomejustin please explain how the USA exploits Africa compared to China. Do they use predatory loans to ensnare poor African countries with debt they can never repay? Do they cease infrastructure as payment like China does?

@SSchithFoo I agree and, thankfully, the caste system and its proponents are dwindling. Also, Hindu nationalism has become less antagonistic and is morphing into a more Indian civic-nationalist model.

keyboardemperor1112 What's your point? And China has a demographic crisis, a debt crisis, water crisis, poorly managed COVID-19, faltering infrastructure, food security problems and many many more compared to India. How exactly has the average IQ helped them so far?

@hazmanriess8949 Oh, thanks for your concern. What will lead to improvements in Nigeria is good political change and with that, we will be on par with India and China. Our military is already the strongest in west Africa and among the strongest in Africa. Our economy is teh largest here and one of the more capitalist but we lack proper infrastructure and have security issues. Given good leadership and political will, all this would change. We are also one of the more nationally united countries in Africa, despite our many tribal differences.

Digitalmonk-kq9uf oh, that is really good to know. Real nationalism should be Civic nationalism where all groups and people's are united by something more fundamental and it's also more peaceful instead of radicalism. Good for you folks in India.
