Kudos to Kenya from Nigeria. Despite their problens, their leadership and citizens are always working to inprove and advance their country with good socioeconomic policies and it shows. They clearly took the good aspects of what the British left them (democracy abd capitalism) and combined it with their own culture and practices to help advance their country.

@joeliz4324 exactly. That's why I was praising Kenya. They actually have better government than we do.

@listenup2882 yeah, I doubt Venezuela, Afghanistan, North Korea, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Mauritania, Haiti and more have better government than us🤣 We have problems but we don't have it nearly as bad as you think.

I had no idea my country of Nigeria (the richest economy in Africa) in west Africa was considered poorer than Zimbabwe in the south. He k! Even Morocco, according to you, is poorer than Rwanda?! Interesting thumbnail you have😂

@iandavid7120 Friend, thanks for this information! I didn't know much of this stuff. I mainly knew that the people of Kenya prior to British coming, were known for trade and as merchants with other Africans and even Arabs. But your explanation also helps a lot. That innate mercantile culture was further developed and encouraged by teh British East Africa company and Kenyans back then. That explains why Kenya is rapidly becoming the economic hub of East Africa and an economic power in Africa as a whole.

@carolcantravel well said. And you are correct. Many Kenyans I have spoken too frequently echo your points. Their culture places great emphasis on mercantile pursuits and that is why they are fast becoming the financial hub of Africa.
