  1. Absolutely wonderful to see this fellow black man preach hard and cold truth. God bless him. I am a black Nigerian currently working part-time at Wendy's and attending my last year of college. One reason why I still have my job is because of how dedicated I am and how well customers have spoken of me. I literally got tips from people for either giving them coupons or being patient and polite to them and even my supervisors call me one of their best workers. Having a good attitude will take you places.

  2. As a black person who actually loves fantasy and has read LOTR and the hobbit, I hate this tokenism. They could have easily used the Haradrim characters (a race of black people who are warriors, pirates, merchants and sailors) that Tolkien created in the amazon show if they wanted more racial diversity but I guess race-swapping dwarves, elves and hobbits is more appropriate........Just more insulting tokenism and mockery to actual black people who like fantasy and all it does is inspire more vitriol towards genuinely good diverse characters.

  3. I remember her from her Nostalgia Chick days when she looked happy and actually enjoyed what she was doing and engaged with her fans. All this changed when she went full far-leftist. She benefitted in the short-run but she lost in the long-run. Her alcoholism worsened. her toxic audience turned on her and did what she was doing to others i.e. attacking others with ideological differences etc. At least Doug Walker is still making content. Regardless of whatever people say about him, he still looks happy, engages with his fans (old and new) and makes videos without any divisive identity politics. Lindsay's case is pretty much the same with most other content creators from the TGWTG era. Heck! even Linkara the degenerate is better than her. At least he doesn't have a criminal record.

  7. As a Nigerian, my deep respect for Latinos and Hispanics just grows each day🎉 They dealt with this monster properly when the government failed. They may have issues but their culture is one that pronotes community, good calues, hard work, and improvements. For example, Compton has become more stable since the Hispanic population increased while the other population decreased.

I remember when I discovered his work in 2014 and he made an obama joke in several of his videos. Later on, he made Trump jokes but it was always in good humor and never antagonistic. That's why he is still liked by most people. As for the Channel Awesome debacle, most of the issues happened due to managerial incompetence rather than malice as the "affected" parties were trying to assert. Had they actually tried to resolve the issues like adults instead of trying to slander and defame Doug and co, they might have come out better in the end but they didn't and that is why Doug won in the end.

  13. Well said. I am Nigerian and I have heard similar stuff from many foreign teachers here too. They speak well of us here and talk about how unruly students in their western countries are. It used to shock me before but after seeing the news and videos like this, it made sense. It is a culture issue. Here, corporal punishment for misbehaving students is still practiced and familial discipline is still upheld here. Sad it's not the same in the west.

  18.  @emberfist8347  Yeah, I am aware of Doug's and Mike's failings but I will not attribute them to malice as most have. It all looks more like managerial inexperience and incompetence. Plus, last I checked, Mike Michaud was the one who was running TGWTG (and later Channel Awesome) long before Doug ever joined them and much of those incidents happened under him. I hear they have improved things substantially and learned from their mistakes and that's good. That's why I don't dwell on that "change the channel" debacle.

For all of Shapiro and Peterson's flaws, they are open to criticism and correcting themselves and they don't live in echo chambers. I cannot say the same for Harris or others like him.
