I remember her from her Nostalgia Chick days when she looked happy and actually enjoyed what she was doing and engaged with her fans. All this changed when she went full far-leftist. She benefitted in the short-run but she lost in the long-run. Her alcoholism worsened. her toxic audience turned on her and did what she was doing to others i.e. attacking others with ideological differences etc. At least Doug Walker is still making content. Regardless of whatever people say about him, he still looks happy, engages with his fans (old and new) and makes videos without any divisive identity politics. Lindsay's case is pretty much the same with most other content creators from the TGWTG era. Heck! even Linkara the degenerate is better than her. At least he doesn't have a criminal record.

@elizabethlevesque6978 Well said. Doug is largely apolitical and even handed when he brings it up. I remember when I discovered his work in 2014 and he made an obama joke in several of his videos. Later on, he made Trump jokes but it was always in good humor and never antagonistic. That's why he is still liked by most people. As for the Channel Awesome debacle, most of the issues happened due to managerial incompetence rather than malice as the "affected" parties were trying to assert. Had they actually tried to resolve the issues like adults instead of trying to slander and defame Doug and co, they might have come out better in the end but they didn't and that is why Doug won in the end.

@mah7961 Oh I remember that😂 I found out about it after watching Mister Metikor's video about the Channel Awesome people. I am not surprised she did that. Most leftists and progressives are just hypocrites who accuse others of things they are guilty of.

@emberfist8347 Yeah, I am aware of Doug's and Mike's failings but I will not attribute them to malice as most have. It all looks more like managerial inexperience and incompetence. Plus, last I checked, Mike Michaud was the one who was running TGWTG (and later Channel Awesome) long before Doug ever joined them and much of those incidents happened under him. I hear they have improved things substantially and learned from their mistakes and that's good. That's why I don't dwell on that "change the channel" debacle.

@BlazingOwnager Well said. Honestly, they just went about the whole "change the channel" nonsense all wrong. they should have simply had a proper discussion with Doug, Mike and head honchos at Channel Awesome to address their issues rather than let the court of public opinion sort it out.
