  1. It’s just profitable way for a lot of tribes to earn money. They started off as bingo halls in the 70’s then became casinos. Not all tribes profit from casinos and not all tribes have a casino. Many Americans love to gamble.

  6. They can buy all they want but most of the time the government says no and or won’t let them. Natives don’t pay less taxes at all. They pay the about the same amount of taxes as any working class person would. My friend 1/4 native and has visited her tribe’s reservation for the summer. They still had to pay the 6% sales tax like everyone else in the state.

  9. Native Americans come all shades. My full native friend is half Chickasaw and there are definitely native people in that tribe that look like even full ones. Even she looks kinda pale and could pass a white as a Choctaw and Chickasaw person.

  15. All natives are different skin wise. My native friend is pale and passes as whitte all the time. She’s half Chickasaw and half choctaw. DNA testing declared that she was 99% native. There were darker natives in the video. Not all natives tan especially in places where there isn’t much sun.

  16.  @Zigotoification  Not at all. Not a single drop of white and DNA test confirms 99% native and 1% Asian. She already passes blood quantum for sure for both tribes though never had to tested. She’s half Chickasaw like the guy in the video but also Choctaw. Her family moved around a lot as her dad was in the military and she’s lived in places where the sun didn’t come out as much.

  17. We’ve had native women go missing within distance of someone seeing them. We’ve had native women kidnapped while a family member was standing from a distance. Heading to bus while they could still see them but not do much.

  21. They all had to start somewhere before settled in America even the mesoamerica natives. It’s very hard to find someone 100% native dna wise. My native friend represents two different tribes and she’s 99% as the 1% is Asian due to migration.

  25. Only some tribes not all. Some tribes are too small to attempt to have one. Some tribes don’t want to be a part of it.

  27.  @noxone8148  My friend has a full Chickasaw family member that passes white well hence why I mentioned the full part. They know full native people who look European from attending events not inclusive to non-natives. Of course, Blake is mixed as he told us.

  28. A big portion is but not all. The 1/4 Native American population is pretty big as I have friend who is. Not their choice due to history of colonization besides those who choose to marry a non-native which is totally fine.

  29. Ancestry DNA but if you want more in depth then you would go to someone in the Apache tribe and check for blood quantum. Blood quantum is measured so they get people who aren’t native and trying to claim they are.

  30.  @JamesSmith-by3qy  Many are by giving birth to more babies and marrying other natives. Teen pregnancy though not suggested is pretty big in the native community and way more than other races.

  33. My friend who also represents his tribe looks more than him. She’s Chickasaw and half choctaw. She always passes as white. Her DNA test said she’s 99% native. There are people who look like him and are over 90% native.

  34.  @Zigotoification  DNA tests don’t lie. Most people won’t have 99% native in their DNA. She’s taken more than test. You don’t need dark skin to be native. There are tribal council members with light skin.

  36. Black natives are a minority. It is not easy to cast them. Yes we have folks with Kyrie Irving and Angel haze who represent black natives as celebs but still in a minority.

  37. The Seminole tribe happened to have a successful bingo hall in 1979 then it became a casino. It just happens to be a profitable form of income as people like to gamble. I have a full native friend her tribes profit off of casinos. She’s Choctaw and Chickasaw. My part native friend is just waiting on her tribe’s casino to be built.

  38.  @Koitern  Yes. She did a dna test and it was 99% Native American. The 1% was Asian as natives started off in Asia. Only half Chickasaw as the other half is Choctaw.

  40. Tohono o’dham nation doesn’t want a wall as migrants don’t usually bother them and it’s sacred land. They live by and around the border. Most don’t report any migrants and deal with their own lives.
