  1. My one friend left home after graduating high school because she didn’t want to be surrounded by a mostly Republican family that had ties to the KKK. Her grandpa was a board member for a KKK chapter in WV when alive. Her trusted cousins tell her everything and the family still has ties KKK to this day. She hasn’t been back home for years due to their horrible racist views and also due to having non-white friends like myself an Asian. 98% of her family only votes Republican and when they can’t then independent politician.

  2.  @runyunhyde4373  That guy left years ago before dying. I have more friends with Republican parents that still have ties to the KKK. Nowadays it’s rare to find a democrat KKK member as they either support republican, third parties or no parties at all. My friend’s grandpa was in the KKK for 50-60 years and never left until he died. There were KKK members in attendance at his funeral. I only mention this friend because she cut all ties with almost everyone in her family besides trusted cousins unlike my other friends who still communicate with their KKK family. This is just the experience of my friends.

  3.  @rigobatiancila5824  I was just mentioning in context to the episode of jubilee. Charles Beckham made the news for being a for getting elected into the Arkansas state senate as a Republican KKK member(active now). He’s only known one that is attempting to act on views into bills. The only ones I’ve heard of through my friends are low level politicians who can only make a difference in small towns. Me and my non-white peers faced so much acts of racism in very red WV. My white passing friends even tells us the countless of racist remarks people make when no one presumed of color is around in WV. I have yet to face any form of racism in my leaning blue county of VA.

  5. There are republicans who don’t believe that America is the best country. There are some proud boys who believe Canada is due to censorship in the U.S.

  6. Some taliban members have been kicked off of Twitter in wake of the Afghan crisis. They didn’t really say why and most people who knew thought due to their extreme views.

  7.  @dpainter1526  I know we have non-white republicans like Candace Owens. However, most of her family choose the Republican side because that party allowed them to free with their thoughts which were sometimes deemed quite racist. They live in mostly white WV so they barely interact with other races anyway as they hate diversity. Also, her grandpa was in the klan for 50-60 years and never left until he died. I have more friends who still communicate their KKK Republican family member though never supported the KKK. The political parties switched many years ago. I do know about the KKK having libertarian members but just a minority since republicans still the majority.

  8.  @swim04obe69  Past not present. My friends have been to parties with KKK members. Plus the political platforms switched. Democrats many years ago are present day republicans. The daughter of a member got shunned just for marrying someone who isn’t white and republican. They have hated democrats for many years regardless of history so anyone who is a democrat can be kicked out.

  9.  @LifeLoveBeauty32  It’s not as rare as you think but the cutting ties to family members is rare. The trusted children/grandchildren of the members follow each other on social media. She met more like her in college and only knew one person so far cutting all ties like her. I also have friends in her position but they still talk to their family and spend holidays together.

  10.  @LifeLoveBeauty32  I’m not saying every racist person is a KKK member as racist people come in all races. I’m just saying I have friends who come up in that position and hard for them to explain that the KKK is still alive just when brought up. They know others in the same or similar position. It’s not a rare as people think but not mostly not known since we learn it as a thing of the past.

  13. There is mass migration to Europe especially the UK and the older dad missed it. Many have come through the UK or other western European country through a Lorry. A lorry is a type of truck.
