  5.  @fark69  Not true for life saving abortions. People were being denied life saving medication for other medical conditions because it could also be used for abortion. We had women who couldn’t end their miscarriage with abortion pills because they were banned. They wanted pills so they didn’t have to face pro-life protestors. Doctors have had get lawyers for medical emergency abortions so they don’t loose their license. Some hospitals banned all abortions even medical emergency amidst the abortion ban.

  8. Hollywood is a place where the pay gap is most known. Most people don’t want all movies and tv shows to have women only. Many companies feel that they need all types of people to work smoothly hence why they may not hire only women.

  9. Some stay at home moms do get paid. Not necessarily in ways that people are thinking of. I know a stay at home mom that got paid extra in disability benefits due being a stay at home mom. Systems should be place if that were to happen more often.

  15. There is oppression for Muslim women in western countries too. There are in Canada and the U.S. that have taken off a Muslim’s women hijab. Some schools even ban the hijab and niqab. Female students have had to fight or switch schools as the forced them to wear gym shorts as sweatpants or other long pants for gym class wasn’t allowed. It’s not like Iran but still they face major issues as Muslim women. Not sure if France counts as Western but the whole hijab ban is bad.

  16. When I was in college, the women’s soccer was #1 in the nation. They got way more viewers in the stands than the men’s soccer team as the men’s soccer team sucked. The men still got paid more. At least one of the game’s had no one watching the men’s soccer team. The women’s team beat the men’s team when playing for fun. I can name more examples in sports but these sports are considered boring to begin with.
