  1. Given that the anarchist cookbook is here, I feel the need to point out that there is an actual political philosophy known as anarchism, that has nothing to do with the kinds of thing in that book. See authors like Goldman, Kropotkin (read the book of bread), and Proudhon (from whom we get the infamous "property is theft"). Even if you were to read these authors, you may not feel any allegiance to anarchism, but I do think it's worth noting that there's a big difference between anarchism proper, and the anarchism of the anarchist cookbook.

  2. I like that you point out that Bacon was a segregationist, while you dont explore the doubtlessly awful nature of Mr Coffee. I have no doubt any US politician at that time had no worthwhile qualities.

  3. I would love more information on "k" sounds switching to "s" sounds. That one seems odd to me. Like, the other common changes (p to f, k to h) all kind of stay in the same place in the mouth. But "k" and "s" are quite different sounds. Like, I'm not doubting that it happens... It obviously does, but I'd love more information on that particular phonological shift, because it stands out as very different to me.

  4. I remember peer editing a students paper in college and they had attempted to use the word primadonna, but had written pre Madonna, like, before Madonna. I'm not sure what category of error that is, but I've always loved it.
