  1. So, I'm gonna reply to you to talk about this. Ryan seems to imply that, because the box is scanning so quickly that any patterns must be "ghosts" but there's this thing in mathematics called Ramsey Theory, which basically shows when you have enough random data, you are guaranteed certain organized structure. So I'm not saying Ramsey Theory says anything about this particular box or how they use it, but we shouldn't be surprised to hear "patterns" in something we expect to be random.

  2. Uh, check your definition of divisibility. An integer m is divisible by integer n if m = nk for some integer k. Hence one is not divisible by three. Because one does not equal 3*k for any integer k.
