  1. That is true. The challenges still remain, for subsequent relationships. It is not about denigrating the women. It is just that fracturing the family dynamic creates disarray. There are legitimate reasons for single motherhood: widowhood, infidelity, abuse. But I would think those three, even combined, only comprise a small minority.

  2. Yes, it is a terrible cycle. This all flows from a scenario that should not even be in place, and really wasn’t prevalent until the 90’s. There should not “be” single mothers, other than widows or in extreme circumstances. It irreparably corrupts the family dynamic, and will complicate romantic possibilities going forward. It is inevitable, and further illustrates why those that have children together “stay” together.

  5. The biggest resolution in 2025, for men, is to no longer pursue problematic women, and to “no longer” tolerate bad behavior in their relationships. Don’t think about it… do it.

  6. Problems never get solved until accountability is accepted. They either have kids with obvious a-holes, or they walk away from decent fathers. These women are/were fully capable of avoiding both of those scenarios.

  8. Yes. We already have to presume a teenager, who no longer has their father in the home, could be even more emotionally unstable than your “typical” teen.

  11. He was talking about this issue in the late 80’s and 90’s, when it really reared its ugly head. All of those eggs have hatched, and what we are left with are girls without boundaries, and boys that are pussies.
