  2.  @DropStopRoll  They put no effort into coming up with something “funny”. How about “Forrest Trump” or a trans riff off of his Bosom Buddies character, 40 years later?

  3. We all get that Trump will be goofed on. Even his supporters do that. We are just waiting for Hanks to do a skit where he is a confused trans.

  5. We all understand that everyone/ every thing is a potential comedy target.. Trump is satirical gold. But where was Hanks blasting “ cancel culture” in the last decade? I am not a “brilliant” SNL writer, but did anyone suggest that a trans satire, incorporating his “Bosom Buddies” character( 40 years later), might hit? I doubt it.

  6. Agreed. He played a guy pretending to be a woman in a television show. “That” had a ton of material built in, but he won’t do that skit.
