  1. The conversation needs to splinter, when it comes to what relationships look like and require. If you want to be self absorbed and chase careers( jobs in most cases), do it, but stay far away from parenthood. If you want to devote to motherhood/ marriage, do that, and forget about jobs, other than those that can be done “after” the priorities are attended to. The two paths do not “converge”.
